ABSTRACT:
We consider the control of null controllable linear systems with saturated
input. A gain-scheduling based on a one parameter family of low-gain control
laws is presented. The scheduling is aimed at accelerating the convergence
of solutions towards the origin through the fastest possible increase of
the low-gain parameter along the solutions. The algorithm guarantees closed-loop
stability but exhibits faster convergence than other schemes previously
proposed in the literature. It is illustrated on the double and the triple
integrator system.
